چکیده

BACKGROUND :- Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality over word wide, Although pathological diagnosis lung carcinoma limited as only small specimen available for diagnosis.the availability targeted therapies has created a need precise subtyping non-small cell . Several recent studies have demonstrated that use Immunohistochemical markers can be helpful in differentiating squamous (LSCC) from adenocarcinoma (LAC) not on surgically resected material but also biopsy samples and cytology.
AIM (1) To classify non into major categories like other by applying immunohistochemicalmarker p40 (truncated p63) Napsin A
 (2) analyse sensitivity specificity A light histomorphology and/or relevant immunohistochemical available, using appropriate statistical tests.
Material methods:- This study was one half year (18 months) prospective Jan 2017 to June 2018, conducted department pathology patients attending outpatient inpatient TB respiratory disease, total 210 bronchoscopic guided biopsies / transthoracic (CT/MRI /guided) tissue suspected malignancy were incorporated study. 20 corresponding resection specimens (wedge lobectomy) included correlation morphology findings biopsies.
RESULTS:-In our IHC both napsin –A aided 71.9% cases this diagnostic accuracy found statistically significant with p-value < 0.05.,on analysis we napsin-A had 90% 80%. Also, positive predictive value negative seen 88.0% 81.8% respectively.
